Spring is in the air. This week on Clutter Interrupted radio we talk to Nell Hill’s creator, Mary Carol, about spring trends (listen here). Recolored florals, geometric patterns, black and white, pops of coral, emerald green, turquoise or yellow, and a fresh take on the traditional are what’s “in” this spring.
Nell Hill’s philosophy:
Be true to yourself. Take the trend and adapt it to your home. Our goal is to inspire you to bring out YOUR style!
Mary Carol shares 3 easy ways to update your home this spring.
Choose a fresh, new fabric and recover your pillows. Mix floral patterns with geometric designs.
Nell Hill’s has the BEST fabric selection we have ever seen!
Paint is a great solution for an inexpensive update to your home. What is your style? Do you want to try something new? You could go with a bold color for a dramatic look.
Or, go neutral for the monochromatic look. Photo from Decoist.com: Monochromatic Designs: How to Pull it Off.
3. Fresh Eyes – Grab a Friend!
This is FREE! Just grab a friend and spend some time “redecorating” each other’s houses. Both of you work at your house for 3 hours and then go to her house for three hours. Sometimes it’s the little things that could be changed that we don’t see in our own home. Fresh eyes. Try it.
Thanks, Mary Carol! Now, readers, choose one of these and schedule it on your calendar! 🙂
