Day 20 – Assignment: Begin deciding which photos will be displayed in office.
Tracy told me I should start deciding which pictures I wanted to display in my office. Ugh. If you are photo junkie like me you can probably relate. I have so many it’s hard to pick a few.
We interviewed Joshua Becker from Becoming Minimalist again recently. I love his perspective on photos, artwork, memorabilia, etc. He says, “the less important always steals from the most important.” Yes! That’s me when it comes to photos.
My perfectionist tendencies also hinder my progress. I want to pick the PERFECT pics. This will NEVER happen because there are too many and I continue to add pictures all the time.
I don’t really want to frame all the pics because that gets pricey. So this is what I have come up with for some of them. Black foam core cut outs with photos stuck on them with double sided tape.
This isn’t Pinterest perfect but I don’t want that. I want to add pictures and change pictures. This black foam core in adhered to the wall with the Command Removable Strips.
So today I chose some photos that make me happy. I think knowing I have displayed them in a changeable way helped me make decisions easier. The funny thing is once I get them up I probably won’t change any of them. Tricky.
