January. 31 days. Chelle’s home office organized. Is it possible? Join us on this 31 day organizing journey!! You can do anything for 31 days right?
Keep up with the entire series here.
Day 27 – Assignment: Deciding on the book pile and the clay creation pile.
Books and clay creations were our last two piles. We had put them on the bookshelf to get them off the floor earlier in the month and now it was time to pull them off and decide what to keep, put elsewhere or get rid of.
Each time you go through a new pile sort the things into sub-piles. We sorted books into volleyball books, Bibles, Bible studies, kids, journals, husbands and other. I must praise Chelle for her ability to make decisions. She donated a lot of them. Some she decided to move to her room where she had two shelves of special books.
We put the books that Chelle wanted to keep in her office back on the shelf. Instead of buying a book end we used what she had…a clay cup that her daughter had made.
After the books we tackled the clay creations. Chelle decided what she was going to keep. She did so good and was able to get rid of a few. Then we talked about where to put them. As she decorates the office she’ll make the final decisions.
I think the office is fairly organized now. The last couple of days Chelle will focus on hanging photos, decorating and all the finishing touches. She’ll do most of this (or all of it) on her own.
I cannot wait to see it Friday when it is ALL FINISHED!!!!! 🙂 🙂
