Day 29 – Assignment: Shopping
Well, between a radio interview, having 20 college kids coming to stay at our home this weekend and my son’s high school basketball game today my shopping time was limited.
I am still working on pictures to hang on the wall. I am looking for an inexpensive but comfy throw for my chair and a few other random decor items to finish off my office. Why didn’t I just pick up the fun, chunky throw I saw at TJ Maxx earlier this week? It will probably be gone when I go there again tomorrow.
I cannot wait for you to hear the interview we taped today. Tracy and I interviewed time management guru, Julie Morgenstern. She is fantastic and such a nice person. You will love the wisdom she shares. (The interview will air the first part of March 2014.) Due to my lack of time management, I did not finish my shopping and photos as planned. I wish I had talked to Julie two weeks ago. I might not have ended up in this spot! Ha!
Isn’t time management part of the reason we find ourselves with a mess and an unfinished project? It certainly is for me.
Only two more days to finish. I am determined. I will push through the unexpected twists and turns of the next 48 hours and complete my office. It won’t be “perfect” but it will be an organized space, filled with things that remind me of people I love and projects I have enjoyed.
Stay with us. Have you been working on your own cluttered space? We would love to hear about it! Leave a comment below!
