One of my favored possessions at the moment…
I don’t know if it is my age or the fact that I had my wisdom teeth removed a few years ago which shifted my molars or the healthy food I’ve been eating but I NEEEEEED to floss about three times a day! It is these little babies that I reach for! I keep a baggie of them in my purse and a baggie in the car and a few near my desk and one in my lunch box when I pack a lunch.
After I eat, if I don’t floss immediately, I can barely stand it. Chia seeds, nuts, greens, and meat will get stuck in my teeth. All of this is irritating and quite unattractive. Action must be taken immediately.
These floss picks are lifesavers!
The funny thing is I can think of two clients who had baggies of these in the mix of things we organized. They told me how much they loved them but I never thought much of it. I just used regular old floss.
Then, one day, my daughter secretly put a few of them (the kids had some in their bathroom drawer that no one ever used) in a baggie, wrote a sweet note on a post-it and laid it on the dash of my car to surprise me. She must have seen me floss while driving with two hands off of the steering wheel and thought this would be a wise alternative.
When I found her note and floss picks the next morning I almost cried! It was the sweetest thing anyone had done for me in a long time. I know how lame that sounds but it was a true surprise. I started thinking about how special it is to know someone is thinking about you and doing something kind for you while you have no idea.
I used one that day and have been hooked ever since. I am in love with them. I have Chelle hooked, too. We floss together after our salad lunches! Only with a true friend can you use floss picks together! I tried a cheaper all white brand but they didn’t work as well. Try them. You might just love them too.
I am even thinking of surprising friends with baggies of these and hand written post-it notes! 🙂
